    About Cottage Dream Vacations:

    Cottage Dream Vacations (CDV) is a dynamic hospitality startup headquartered in Whitby, dedicated to crafting five-star cottage resorts across Canada. In addition, we are also a leading real estate training provider. We are quickly expanding and are in search of an exceptional Content Creator with a passion for crafting compelling marketing strategies, a natural knack for engaging audiences, a keen eye for detail, and a drive to contribute to the success of a growing brand. If that's you, we have an exciting opportunity waiting for you as our YouTube Content Creator

    The Content Creator is responsible for the following:

    • Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to understand brand guidelines, target audience, and communication goals.
    • Create visually stunning and engaging social media graphics, infographics, and visual content that aligns with the brand's voice and objectives.
    • Edit, cut, and shoot long and short form content within a 24 h window
    • Produce captivating video content from conception to completion, including filming, editing, and post-production tasks.
    • Utilize basic photography and videography skills to capture high-quality images and video footage for use in content creation.
    • Edit and enhance visual assets using industry-standard software tools to ensure a polished and professional appearance.
    • Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity across all digital platforms, ensuring brand recognition and coherence.
    • Assist in the creation of podcast episodes, including basic audio editing and knowledge of podcast hosting platforms.
    • Craft and edit blog posts and written content for the company's website and other channels as needed.
    • Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling and informative blog posts that align with SEO strategies.
    • Stay updated with the latest design trends, social media algorithms, and content marketing best practices.
    • Monitor social media channels, engage with the audience, and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries.
    • Analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for content optimization.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of visual and written content across all platforms.
    • Keep up-to-date records of media files, ensuring an organized and accessible library for future use.

    Your Qualifications:

    • 1-2 years of practical experience with video production
    • Ability to edit, cut, and shoot long and short form content within a 24 h window
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing
    • Advanced knowledge of video production software
    • Ability to work cross functionally, including managing your own team.
    • The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with numerous competing priorities and reporting deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Related post-secondary degree in a related field an asset
    • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and presentation skills
