    Description

    We are a consumer-packaged goods company located in the heart of downtown Montreal, that manufactures, develops, designs and markets consumer products under license for major American national brands. you will be responsible for overseeing the organization, maintenance, and distribution of product information within our company. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and up-to-date product data across various platforms and channels to support sales, marketing, and operational activities.

    Reports to: Head of Marketing

    1-PIM System Management:

    • Launch, implement and maintain a centralized PIM system to manage product information efficiently (Salsify).
    • Customize and configure the PIM system to align with business needs and workflows.
    • Ensure data integrity and consistency within the PIM system.

    2-Product Data Governance:

    • Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards for product information.
    • Establish processes for data quality control, data enrichment, and data validation.
    • Define taxonomy, attributes, and relationships for product data within the PIM system.

    3-Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) to understand data requirements and business objectives.
    • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to exchange product information accurately.

    4-Content Management:

    • Manage product content creation, enrichment, and localization within the PIM system.
    • Ensure product descriptions, images, specifications, and other attributes are accurate and optimized for various channels.

    5-Integration and Automation:

    • Integrate the PIM system with other enterprise processes to streamline data flow.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in data management workflows.

    6-Training and Support:

    • Provide training and support to internal users on using the PIM system effectively.
    • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for best practices in product information management.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree, Information Management, or related field.
    • Proven experience (3 years) in product information management, data governance, or related roles.
    • In-depth knowledge of PIM systems and tools (e.g.,Salsify).
    • Strong understanding of data modeling, taxonomy, and metadata management.
    • Experience with data integration, APIs, and data migration processes.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing technologies is a plus.
