We are currently recruiting for a Supply Staff Placement Supervisor to become part of our talented and committed People Services team for approximately one year to cover a parental leave.

Full-Time, Term Contract Commencing January 2024 for approximately 12 months

Monday through Friday hours per week

Typical hours are 5:30 am-1:30 pm with some flexibility as needed

Work mode:
Hybrid remote

Qualifications:

Post-Secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Early Childhood Education or a combination of related education and experience
Experience in staffing and performance management is an asset
Working knowledge of Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation preferred
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical and proactive
Demonstrated organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Well developed time management skills and ability to problem solve
Proficiency in Windows based word processing, spreadsheets and databases, as well as Human Resources Information Systems
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Effective presentation skills

Position responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with the other Supply Staff Placement Supervisor and others at LCC to ensure all programs are staffed in a timely and efficient manner
Coordinate and maintain an efficient supply staffing process
Provide support and guidance to new and existing supply staff
Coordinate and present Orientations and Support Sessions
Support the People Services team as required
