  • About the Role
  • The Marketing Asset Liaison role will drive collaboration across the Potash Asset and Sales & Marketing, including to ensure efficient delivery of our Operational Readiness Plan to for the Jansen Potash Mine.
  • As the Marketing lead representative located at the asset, the role requires strong relationship management skills to ensure effective communication and delivery of work between Asset based teams and the global Sales & Marketing team.
The role actively delivers and tracks Sales & Marketing deliverables for Operational Readiness including, but not limited to:

product distribution and logistics in North America, product quality acceptance and control processes, and establishing our short-term and long-term Supply Chain and Production processes.

The role requires the ability to strategize, project manage and execute detailed work plans that require enabling cross-functional effectiveness and systems of work (design, routines, reporting, control/ governance).- Accountable for maintaining the relationship between Asset Integrated Operations and Marketing Book teams across 0-12 month time horizon.


  • Supports Product Development Manager in execution of product strategy projects in 012 month horizon.
  • Marketing representative on Asset Integration Teams.
  • Manages tactical S&OP process and actions delivered as per agreed timelines/quality.
  • Owns and updates relevant Operating Window Documents (in collaboration with customer liaison and strategy and technical teams).
  • Manages the shortterm quality interface between Marketing and the Asset including product quality complaints from customers and OWD escalations.
  • Proactively identify potential variation of Asset production plans and engage across the Asset and Marketing to manage the deviation (optimising value).
  • Facilitates implementation of asset optimisation opportunities in the short term, e.g. blending, supply chain optimisation (in collaboration with customer liaison and strategy and technical teams).
  • Ensure customers visits to our assets are safely and efficiently managed, providing confidence to customers in our ability to be a reliable supplier of high quality materials.


  • About You

  • You have an indepth understanding of the global markets, commercial drivers and supply chain impacts. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of the drivers of product value. In order to be successful in this position you will have the ability to establish effective communication channels and new ways of working, such as being agile to encourage collaboration and new ideas.
You have demonstrated in previous roles and have a strong desire to develop or strengthen their skills in these areas:

  • The ability to work interactively with Jansen operations teams, finance, tax, logistics and integrated operations teams amongst others.
  • The ability to conceptualize, develop and communicate clear strategies and execution plans to progress projects from initial concept through to operations.
  • The ability to be able to develop and modify complex models that can map the process value chain whilst be laid out well enough to be able to be followed by others.
  • Knowledge of potash mining, distribution, and supply chain management.

Required Skills, Training, and Experience:


  • Must have Bachelor's Degree or related equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to set priorities, work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively working in a fastpaced team environment.
  • Knowledge, and experience managing and/or supporting largescale project projects.
  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and supply chain processes and exhibits the capacity to effectively selfexecute.
  • Experience in new ways of working (e.g. BOS (BHP Operating System), Agile and Lean / continuous improvement) is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong command of MS Office.
