MANAGER, PROGRAM AND BUSINESS OPERATIONS

$84,795 - $99,759 Annually
***Reporting to the Vice President, Information Management and Technology, the Manager, Program and Business Operations is responsible for managing the business operations of the branch including administrative, financial, procurement and communications responsibilities. The position also manages two key programs including the delivery of technical training throughout the organization, and the delivery of strategic technology program services externally to Non-Profit Housing and Service Providers ("Providers") consisting of the promotion of cybersecurity and privacy awareness, development of resource toolkits and coordination of the provision of technology advisory services.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field from a recognized postsecondary institution.
  • Considerable experience managing business operations including administrative, financial and procurement.
  • Considerable experience in IT with a focus on delivery of business solutions and managing relationships.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the employer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Considerable knowledge of the department's policies, programs, projects and operating requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall approaches
  • Considerable knowledge in the management of a CRM system and various marketing and communications channels
  • Considerable knowledge of accounting practice and budgeting
  • Proficiency in operating systems including Windows and LINUX
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, decisionmaking, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver training program
  • Ability to oversee the management of websites and other related communication channels
  • Ability to generate and articulate new ideas and adapt effectively to new technologies
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in nonprofit organizations, crossfunctional teams and with all levels of staff
  • Ability to lead, coach, develop and motivate internal staff and external stakeholders
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget while maintaining effective client and team relationships
  • Well versed in Information Technology, especially with techn
