- Analyze large datasets and prepare data for model development
- Develop and implement machine learning models to tackle sophisticated business problems, using a variety of algorithms and techniques
- Work closely with partners to gather requirements, design data models, and implement solutions that meet their needs.
- Codify processes/techniques/tools into standard methodologies for other data scientists
- Influence business partners to contribute to and adopt insights from analytics work
- Innovate and find creative ways to source data to support modeling efforts, using structured and unstructured data
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in AI/ML and related technologies, continuously improving our reporting capabilities.

- An advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience solving high-impact business problems using data science.
- Excellent data wrangling, data preprocessing, and data visualization skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL and knowledge of agile solution development principles
- Practical experience with big data processing frameworks, and platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Spark.
- Excellent communication skills – able to translate sophisticated data science concepts to technical and non-technical partners.
- Track record of implementing models into production with business value.
- Previous experience working with customer analytics is an asset.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Toronto, OntarioSalary range is expected to be between
$74,270.00 CAD - $137,930.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
