At ICBC, we have an exciting opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant supporting our Employee Relations Team in

Human Resources.

As the Employee Relations Administrative Assistant you will enjoy being part of a team of dedicated professionals, working

collaboratively on various projects and initiatives that will contribute to ICBC's purpose to "move all forward". The day-to-day

responsibilities of the role will be to look after all administrative aspects to support the Employee Relations team. This includes,


but is not limited to:
calendar management, employee relations file management, monitoring of employee relations

correspondence, preparing a variety of confidential documents, reports and presentations, coordinating meeting agendas,

submitting expenses, liaising with various departments and stakeholders, and other organizational tasks, projects and initiatives

as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative support positions to senior leader(s).
  • Legal or litigation administrative experience and experience or education in human resources and unionized environments
strongly preferred.

  • Strong time management skills to manage multiple calendars and plan meetings and activities.
  • Demonstrated experience with File management systems and attention to detail regarding timelines.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement in being proactive and taking initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise tact and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a project. Focused on continuous improvement and identifying ways to add
value.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams an asset.
