    NEUF architecte(s) recherche actuellement un technologue en architecture pour rejoindre son équipe à Ottawa. En collaboration avec un architecte et/ou un technologue en architecture senior, les tâches et responsabilités comprendront, mais sans s'y limiter :

    • Préparer et interpréter les plans et documents nécessaires pour différentes étapes d'un projet de construction, y compris l'élaboration de plans techniques et de détails ;

    • Comprendre et interpréter le Code du bâtiment de l'Ontario afin de faire avancer un projet de manière conforme au code ;

    • Coordonner les documents avec différents consultants et/ou divers intervenants d'un projet

    • Assister aux réunions avec les clients et les intervenants ;

    • Examiner et annoter les dessins d'atelier pendant la phase de construction d'un projet ;

    • Aider à résoudre les conflits de construction de manière opportune via des documents d'administration de la construction ;

    • Préparer des documents liés à la construction pour traiter les changements dans un projet en cours de construction ;

    • Aider à examiner les coûts de construction et la facturation mensuelle d'un projet ;

    • Assister le chef de projet dans toutes les tâches liées à la réalisation d'un projet réussi ;


    NEUF Architects is currently seeking for an Architectural Technologist to join its team in Ottawa. With the collaboration of an Architect and/or Senior Architectural Technologist, task and responsibilities will consist of but not limited to:

    • Prepare and interpret plans and documents required for different stages of a construction project, including developing technical plans and details

    • Understand and interpret the Ontario Building Code in order to advance a project in a code compliant manor;

    • Coordinate documents with different consultants and/or various stakeholders of a project

    • Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders ;

    • Review and annotate shop drawings during the construction phase of a project ;

    • Assist with resolving construction conflicts at in a timely manor via construction administration documents ;

    • Prepare construction related documents to address changes in a project under construction ;

    • Assist with the review of construction costs and monthly billing of a project ;

    • Assist the project manager in all tasks related to delivering a successful project ;

    PROFIL English follows

    • Diplôme en technologie d'architecture ;

    • 4 ans et plus d'expérience en architecture ;

    • Une expérience en supervision de chantiers de construction est un atout ;

    • Connaissance du Code du bâtiment de l'Ontario et des règlements de zonage locaux ;

    • Connaissance des méthodes et des matériaux architecturaux, des métiers de la conception et de la construction associés ;

    • Solides compétences techniques ;

    • Maîtrise de Revit et AutoCAD ;

    • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome ainsi qu'en équipe ;

    • Capacité à établir des priorités et à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément ;

    • Attitude positive et excellentes relations avec les clients ;

    • La maîtrise de l'anglais et du français avec des compétences en communication orale et écrite est un atout ;

    • Degree in Architectural Technology ;

    • 4 years and over of experience in architecture

    • Experience in site supervision of construction projects is an asset ;

    • Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and local zoning bylaws ;

    • Knowledge of architectural methods and materials, related design and construction trades ;

    • Strong technical skills ;

    • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD ;

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team ;

    • Ability to set priorities and manage a number of tasks concurrently ;

    • Positive attitude and excellent client relations ;

    • Fluency in English and French with oral and written communication skills are an asset ;
