    Immediate Work from Home / Remote : Hybrid work from home Wage : $65,000 - $85,000 (with flexibility based on the level of experience) Baker Tilly supports progressive labour policies, including :

    • Generous paid time off This role is a hybrid work-from-home position. Candidates must be available to travel during the week to the Walkerton, Ontario office located at 7 Victoria Street South for critical meetings as required.

    • Compilation and review of client information and working paper file preparation
    • Year-end planning for various clients
    • Supervising engagements and related tax filings within a paperless office environment
    • Completion of assurance engagements with teams of 1 – 4 team members
    • Identification of KPIs through technology
    • Identifying and resolving engagement issues
    • Training and mentoring junior staff on engagements
    • Preparation of Notice to Reader and Review Engagement reports
    • Preparation of personal tax returns
    • Ensuring the clients' satisfaction with the firm's services
    • Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
    • Identifying and cultivating new service or tax planning opportunities for client

    • A college or university degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
    • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or a similar finance role
    • CPA designation or in progress would be considered a strong asset
    • Experience managing large engagements
    • Tech savvy; proven technical skills in accounting
    • In-depth working knowledge of accounting and tax
    • Sound working knowledge of accounting principles
    • Advanced accounting, tax, and software knowledge, i
