    Description

    Join our dynamic team at Remuda, a trusted name in the prairies, known for exceptional post-frame buildings, unique designs, and a wide range of building materials.

    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Truss Production Manager to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and supervising various crews to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and in accordance with production schedules and shop flow requirements.

    As the Production Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing productivity, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment.


    As an Truss Production Manager you will:
    Enforce Remuda's health and safety policies and quality policies for a secure and high-quality work environment.
    Organize shifts, monitor hours, and coordinate plant activities for streamlined operations.
    Provide comprehensive on-the-job training covering safety, company policy, and procedures for plant personnel.
    Coordinate plant activities, including assembly, to optimize production processes.
    Ensure assemblers understand quality requirements and evaluate and eliminate hazardous work situations.
    Maintain quality control procedures and monitor scheduled maintenance of shop equipment and cleanliness of work areas.
    Manage hiring, production flow, and material efficiency.
    Coordinate forklift operations, yard work, trucking and sales scheduling.
    Monitor inventory, production progress and product storage.
    Demonstrated ability to maintain and uphold quality standards in production processes.
    Strong leadership skills with capability to effectively manage manpower and equipment for optimized productivity.
    Prior experience in organizing shift requirements and coordinating plant activities to meet production goals.
    Excellent training skills with the ability to provide comprehensive on-the-job training covering safety, company policies and procedures.

    Strong communication skills to record and escalate employee concerns to higher management for resolution as well as to communicate with the sales force for scheduling and delivery coordination.

    Proficient in managing hiring processes to maintain optimal staffing levels.
