The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will enjoy a variety of tasks that will expose them to all facets of human resources as they provide support to the whole HR team and a diverse client group.

In this role you will:

The duties and responsibilities described below will be executed with the support of the local HR Representatives:


Recruitment & Onboarding:


  • Support recruitment process, including participating in discovery sessions, posting job ads, conducting initial phone screens & schedule interviews
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Support HRBPs as needed with offer letters
  • Support various onboarding initiatives, including documentation requirements, scheduling, training administration and followthrough of the Onboarding Checklist
  • Conduct HR Onboarding for all new hires in our Head Office location
  • Update & maintain 'Internal Available Jobs' monthly communication poster
  • Create new employee profiles in Ceridian HRIS
HRIS Support

  • Ownership and administration of HR systems such as Ceridian, HRdownlaods, JotForms, HR SharePoint page, Visio, etc.
  • Support PTO balance inquiries (vacation, sick, personal days)
  • Respond to general Ceridian inquiries (password resets, howto's etc.)
  • General HRIS related transactions inclusive of all employee master data entries
  • Employee SAP setup for expenses as requested
HR Administration

  • General HR administration duties, including the tracking, validating, and filing of employee documents and lifecycle change requirements
  • Support the creation of updated work instructions
  • Update Organizational charts as required
  • Birthday & Anniversary program administration
  • Support 'Employee Spotlight' reward program
General

  • Support the HR Team with various HR projects & programs, such as changemanagement projects, People & Culture initiatives etc.
  • Vacation coverage of payroll processes as needed
  • Assist with the creation of HR Training Documents
  • Lead Employee Engagement Committee initiatives for your location
  • Organize employee events for the Head Office location and support HRBPs at other locations as needed
  • Support the CHRO with administration including but not limited to expenses and PowerPoint presentation creation and editing
  • All other duties as assigned
What You Need

  • 2 years' experience in Human Resources, providing administrative and general support
  • Superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Great attitude with a strong desire to learn
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; previous exposure to HRIS systems a strong asset
Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work environment with core in office days of Tuesday
  • Thursday
  • May be required in office ad hoc on Monday and Fridays
