    Our valued client relationships include major industry players like Cameco, Orano, BHP, Nutrien, Bunge, and more.

    Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role based in Saskatoon, SK, with the flexibility for some remote work. As a senior structural designer, your main duties will be structural design and drafting. You will be expected to demonstrate leadership and initiative in executing your work. You will be able to solve problems independently, with only supervisory input from lead engineers. You will be expected to lead small projects and may get involved with project management for certain clients. You will also be responsible for checking drawings with respect to design details and drafting standards.

    ResponsibilitiesCreating engineering documentation (models, drawings, specifications, documents, etc) in mechanical disciplineChecking engineering documentationAssisting with material take-offs and estimating tasks, when requiredReading and understanding technical documentation, including vendor drawings, specifications, design criteria and datasheetsLiaise with clients, vendors, manufacturers and other disciplinesVisit client sites to collect information and check existing conditions

    QualificationsThis position requires demonstrated strength of leadership and proven time management capabilities. Your knowledge of the mining sector and your technical expertise will round out your qualifications for this position.


    Candidates who demonstrate vision and enthusiasm for their work may be supported in taking the company's business into new areas of interest.

    Key Knowledge & ExperienceA minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design and drafting are required.

    Experience working in the consulting field, especially in the mining sector and, more specifically, potash mining, would be considered an asset.

    Site experience and heavy industrial exposure would also be an asset for this position.

    Salary Range$98,000 - $158,000
