    Position Description:

    Weare currently seeking an experienced Software Developer and Consultant who hasa solid understanding of software development, system architecture, framework andsoftware engineering practices to join our corporate software development team.

    We're looking for someone who is passionately curious about new technology, isexcited by their craft and who craves to share their expertise while exploringnew possibilities.


    Responsibilities:

    TheIT Systems Consultant will be responsible for understanding the Canadianclients' technology requirements, developing highly customized solutions,planning the implementation, installing and configuring the appropriatesoftware, integrating with other systems, deploying to users, and managingorganizational changes, all by applying a set of Assetsoft's unique provenmethods.

    Youwill be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing softwaredevelopment, including team lead and technical delivery activities. The keyfocus will be execution of implementation, deployment, and support, with aconsultative approach aimed at promoting modern development practices.

    You willbe working with and supporting a distributed team of technical resources with arange of experience from entry-level developers to highly experiencedarchitects.

    The scope of work is extensive, and all candidates must have abroad range of Microsoft functional and technical capabilities.


    Primary dutiesinclude:

    • Responsibility for supporting, designing, developing, enhancing,and implementing innovative information technology applications both medium andhigh complexity projects and deliver as per specified time-frames and budgets;
    • Supporting Agile teams in their development, releasing andestablishing consistent best practices. Collaborating with non-Agile team,educating and supporting them throughout transformation.
    • Converting complicated technical topics into business terms forexecutive audiences and technical design documents for software developers;
    • Designing and documenting proposals, forms, workflows, businessprocesses, data modelling requirements and systems specifications;
    • Defining relevant metrics (Ex. First time right, Time to market,Cost of Quality, Schedule/Effort variance, Milestone adherence,) that helpreview health of the program;
    • Leading SAFe implementation to realize value-stream benefits atEnterprise level;
    • Maintaining effective information radiators that aid transparencyand encourage clear communication between the development team, the ProductOwner, and stakeholders;
    • Gathering requirements through client interaction & conductingsystems analysis sessions, to understand Client Business processes and developscalable solutions which cater to business/operational requirements;
    • Eliciting requirements using a variety of techniques, such asinterviews, reviews, focus groups, document analysis, requirements workshops,surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios,business analysis, task, User Stories, Story Mapping, and Mock-Ups;
    • Developing project management plans and determine the baselines.
    Progressively elaborating during project execution;


    • Delivering essential projects across different countries to ensureeffective delivery;
    • Defining the programme's governance arrangements. Ensuringeffective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme;
    • Developing business solutions, configuring applications, andproviding quality assurance testing and training for systems andoperations-related projects. Addressing non-conformities from previous internaland external reviews. Following-up on and close pending preventive andcorrective action plans;
    • Being responsible for Configuration Management;
    • Determining the impact of potential changes, and developingcost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies;
    • Assisting in identifying and maximizing the value of plannedefforts for company, customers, and users through facilitation, analysis, andmodelling techniques; and
    • Assessing program performance and aim to maximize ROI.

    Education:
    UG / PG – Computer Engineering / Degree in Computers Science orany related specialization.

    Requirements

    Required Skills and Experience:
    Minimum of 5-7 years ofapplications development experience in the areas of:


    • C# / ASP.NET Core design patterns and core principles
    • Web component framework experience with Angular or AngularJS
    • Web Service / API application integration experience (REST APIs)
    • Experience with MS SQL Server / MySQL / TSQL
    • Experience with cloud services like Microsoft Azure or AmazonAWS/Microservice Architecture
    • Expertise in DevOps practices like Automation, ConfigurationManagement, Continuous Integration &Delivery
    • Proven ability to work in a structured, quality environment with aheavy emphasis on proper change management.
    • Strong team player; able to work independently and well with others.
    • Ready to continue to learn themodern development techniques and quick learner.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    Thesuccessful candidate should be able to define service standards and guidelinesas per global best-practices, prepare documentation that serve as benchmarksfor excellent service, and provide recommendation for establishment and changesto departmental practices, standards, policies, procedures and processes toimprove IT systems analysis.

    Thecandidate should have an experience working with Scaled Agile Framework.

    Furthermore, the candidate should have a solid experience in sharing commonAgile practices or and traditional Waterfall, Prototyping and V process.

    Morespecifically, the candidate should possess:

    ● 5+ years ofexperience with business methods analysis, MI systems, or Scaled AgileFramework, etc


    • 5+ years ofexperience with management tools, data analysis tools and databases (eg.
    SASEG, SQL, TRIAD, Decision Manager an asset)


    • Experienceworking with Scaled Agile Framework required.
    • Solidexperience in sharing common Agile practices or and traditional Waterfall,Prototyping and V process.
