SmoQue N' Bones is a Toronto-born and bred boutique restaurant in West Queen West's heart. We bring the Southern-inspired BBQ back to the neighbourhood 12 months a year

Host/_
Hostess_ position.

We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with and welcoming our valued guests—who does well at greeting, organizing, and planning.


ROLE SUMMARY:


As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Uphold the SmoQue N Bones' respected Brand and provide an exceptional dining experience
  • Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage reservations and waitlists internally and with all external thirdparty platforms (i.e., Uber Eats, Open Table)
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints or concerns
  • Keep the dining area clean and organized.
  • Assist with other duties as needed
  • Plan large events ahead to ensure all aspects required are covered

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, and nights
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary
  • Experience using platforms such as Open table, Uber Eats etc... is an asset

$16.00-$18.00 per hour
