    Description
    Sage Recruiting is looking for a Staff Engineer to join a fast-growing SaaS company in Vancouver (or Remote). The product redefines email communication and transaction by developing an online collaboration tool which optimizes their customers' workflow.As a Staff Engineer, you will spend most of your time on feature development and the rest on technical leadership. You will also create sustainable, high-performance, and scalable solutions and provide solutions to challenging problems. You will collaborate with the global team with the goal to reinvent the way people communicate in enterprises.   • 8+ years' experience building and implementing complex, multi-tier distributed software applications
  • 5+ years' backend development experience building and running applications using
  • Adept in working in product-first companies and experience in developing SaaS platforms creating new ideas from initial design to product release
  • Competent in designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant impact
  • Experience in conducting feasibility studies
  • Experience in modern technology research and assessment and making the optimal architectural decisions for complex business problems
  • Passionate team players who can provide leadership and can push the norms
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Nice to have
  • 2+ years' frontend development experience using TypeScript, React
  • Experience in setting technical direction and leading project teams as a hands-on technical lead
  • Experience with scaling distributed systems
  • Knowledge of functional programming
