This high performance and dynamic team is expanding on its professional services team, in coordination with overall growth plans within JLL Canada, and globally.
Value and Risk Advisory at JLL is a global network of more than 1,700 professionals, operating from 44 countries, to deliver expertise across the commercial real estate spectrum.
With local professionals in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and Alberta, our Canadian team is a 'Best-in-Class' national valuation platform, servicing the needs of many of the nation's largest Pension Funds, and Institutions.
At this time, the group focuses on valuation assignments of 'Core 4' real estate assets (Retail, Office, Industrial and Residential), with some localized specialization in multi-family, seniors housing, and hotel properties.
This role would report directly to the local Value and Risk leader, Alison McGavigan – but with the opportunity to interact and work with professionals across the country.
This position aims to provide a wide variety of support services to the team, and the successful candidate will be strong at, and enjoy working with numbers, possess strong writing skills, be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
Working with Argus Enterprise Valuation Software often and proficientlyConducting research and collecting information materials on market fundamentals, ownership, tenants, and economic analysis
Post-secondary education in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Urban Economics, Urban Planning, or Urban Geography is an asset
~1-2 years full-time professional experience required in the commercial real estate sector is an asset
~ Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to: MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Real estate software, such as: ARGUS Enterprise, is a definite asset
