    Description

    Job Description

    Bayshore is seeking dedicated Rehab Assistants to join their team in a Full-Time position at their transitional Care Unit in West Park, Toronto. This role involves supporting clients to reach their maximum potential under the direction of healthcare professionals.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Implements rehabilitation programs as directed
    • Promotes independence in clients' daily lives
    • Conducts exercise and cognitive therapy programs
    • Attends team meetings and case conferences
    • Ensures infection prevention practices
    • Participates in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives
    • Adheres to company policies and procedures
    • Ensures Health & Safety compliance
    • Maintains client and corporate confidentiality
    • Other tasks as assigned

    Job Qualification

    Education
    Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Rehabilitation Assistant Program is required. Alternatively, a degree in kinesiology or relevant designation will be considered.

    Other Skills, Abilities and Requirements

    • Experience in customer service settings
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle challenging situations objectively
    • Effective collaboration and independent work abilities
    • Proficiency in using computers and secure email systems
    • Valid driver's license and insurance
