    Building Operations Manager - Halifax, NS

    We are currently looking for a full-time Building Operations Manager.

    Reporting to the Commercial Property Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing building systems projects and general maintenance at our downtown Halifax properties, the Brewery, The Governor, The Alexander, and Ben Wier.

    Assist Commercial Property Manager and Operations team with the creation and management of preventative maintenance programs;


    • Support the implementation of future decarbonization projects;
    • Provide leadership and support for on-site maintenance technicians;
    • Assist with tender, quoting, and project management process;
    • Assist Commercial Property Manager in preparing annual property operating and capital budgets;
    • Participate in after hours coverage and support for Killam's maintenance team;
    • Experience with data technology as it pertains to building operating systems;
    • Experience with training and development;
    • Working knowledge of building automation systems;
    • Time management and scheduling experience (balancing short and long term projects);
