    Job Title: Analytics Engineer

    Salary: $185,000 - $210,000

    Employment type: Full-time, Permanent

    Region: Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area

    Workplace type: Hybrid, 3 days/week in the office located in downtown Montreal


    Auxo Recruitment is looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join a client, a high-growth startup in the RevTech sector. The team is part of a startup that recently secured $5 million USD in late 2022 to support their goals.


    Responsibilities:


    In this role, you will blend data engineering and analysis to drive growth of the B2B platform. You will be crucial in shaping the data infrastructure, ensuring smooth data flow for valuable insights that drive client progress. Collaborating with data engineers and analysts, you will utilize tools like BigQuery and GoodData to create solid data models and enhance ETL processes. Your efforts will help establish a data-centric environment for strategic decision-making and innovative growth approaches. If you enjoy translating complex data into insights and excel in building scalable data solutions, this is your opportunity to shine.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, focusing on data analytics or data science.
    • Proficiency in SQL and proficiency in Python and other programming languages.
    • Experience with BigQuery and GoodData.
    • Proven skills in data modeling, ETL development, and working with data engineering teams.
    • Thorough understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to challenges.
    • Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and Looker is essential.
