    Description

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Field Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of field staff, including training, quality control, time management, and compliance with all safety and operating procedures.

    Along with the items below, Field Supervisors are fully competent in all responsibilities and qualifications of the Utility Locator/Damage Prevention positions and will be required to perform utility locate services during peak demand and coverage periods.

    Day-to-day supervision of field staff
    # Act as the quality and technical lead – first point of contact for technical escalations
    # Manage quality in field work and ticket submissions
    # Be the expert in customer technical requirements, including ticket and mapping rules, and escalations
    # Regularly perform technician training, both in class and field
    # Oversee work site and field staff safety, ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, regulations and quality standards, and completing Health, Safety and Quality Inspections
    # Assist in the evaluation of prospective and existing field staff
    # Clean driving license
    Able to work on job sites outside for long periods
