    Description

    An outstanding opportunity to join a leading global company specializing in wallboard equipment and plaster plants as a Senior Electrical Engineer!

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in meetings to define project scope, requirements, costs, and timelines
    • Develop equipment motor lists and device lists in collaboration with the mechanical team
    • Interface with customers and internal/external teams to finalize design details
    • Research and analyze technical specifications to meet user needs
    • Supervise design documents, schematics, and control diagrams
    • Provide guidance and assign tasks to junior designers
    • Support design through the entire life cycle from concept to commissioning
    • Design drive panels & PLC control panels to customer specifications
    • Offer onsite installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience in electrical systems design
    • Degree in Engineering or related field
    • Experience in Mining & Minerals, Heavy Equipment, Packaging, or Material Handling Equipment industries
    • Familiarity with EPLAN or AutoCAD
    • Knowledge of Electrical Codes such as NFPA79, NEC, CEC, CSA, and IEC/EN, and UL508A Panel Design Standard (a plus!)

    • Team player with motivation
    • Effective in managing workload and meeting deadlines
