    If this environment aligns with your ambitions, we are offering a thrilling opportunity for a Licensing Analyst Intern in Spring 2024 in Burlington, Ontario (Hybrid).

    Your Daily Tasks:

    • Be part of a team of engineers devoted to licensing nuclear power plants globally
    • Gain expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants
    • Acquire skills to license both traditional commercial power plants and advanced reactors
    • Prepare licensing and technical submissions for utilities and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission
    • Collaborate with teams to address critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants

      • As an Electrical Intern at our Burlington, Ontario facility, you will engage in various technical and engineering tasks, such as design, drafting, and implementation of electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects (Capital, Expense, Development) under the guidance of engineers. Commencing Fall 2024.

      Your Main Responsibilities/Qualifications


      - Design and optimize control systems and software for electrical and mechanical systems
      - Identify suppliers of electro-mechanical components
      - Develop electrical schematics and detailed manufacturing drawings following the Westinghouse Quality Manual


      - Create software and relevant documentation (if applicable)
      - Assist in the assembly of electrical and/or mechanical systems
      - Aid in developing component specifications and procurement requests
      - Coordinate with external suppliers for component choice, production, and assembly


      - Contribute to developing test procedures for systems to ensure compliance with design specifications
      - Assist in the operation of the final tooling system at customer premises

      Who We're Looking For:
      - Eligibility with a degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics engineering
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills
      - Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
      - Solid mechanical/electrical aptitude and knowledge
      - Familiarity with electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software
      - Self-driven and highly organized
      - Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical


      - Practical skills honed through work, school teams, or personal pursuits are highly valued
