    Description

    The Role:

    Headquartered in Montreal, Behaviour is a global company with studios in Toronto, Seattle, Rotterdam, and the UK. This position is part of the team focusing on original games and the development of Behaviour-owned IPs like Dead by Daylight and Meet Your Maker.

    As a Sound Designer at Behaviour, you'll play a key role in creating immersive horror and cinematic audio experiences for players. Working on renowned titles like Dead By Daylight, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to stunning trailers and be a crucial part of game audio creation.

    Collaborate with industry experts, enhance your skills, and push the boundaries of audio design.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create audio design for the game following existing guidelines
    • Work on various sound elements such as ambiances, characters, and cinematics
    • Record and edit original sound effects
    • Design systems for audio behavior in the game
    • Implement audio in the project using Wwise and Unreal
    • Test and validate audio within the game

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in sound design
    • Degree in sound design, recording, or music
    • Experience across the game design production cycle
    • Strong creativity in sound creation
    • Knowledge of sound-related techniques and production tools like Unreal, Wwise, and more
    • Experience in syncing sound with cinematics
    • Music knowledge is a plus
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a team
    • Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
    • Bilingual in French and English
    • Passion for video games
    • Portfolio required with application
