    Sunday – Thursday


    LOCATION:

    The Worship Pastor will recruit, train, schedule, and lead Serve Team(volunteers) and part-time employees assigned as direct reports to help developand execute compelling and participatory worship services as well as otherworship content when needed for events or gatherings (such as Students &Kids).

    The Lead Worship Pastor will work collaboratively with the other teamsas needed under the direction of the Executive Pastor.

    We invest in our staff to developtheir skills, so they thrive in their roles as well as focusing on helping themto develop spiritually.

    3-5 years' experience in worship, understanding ofmusic, technical aspects of producing services, proven track record in leading andteaching eclectic, creative musicians

    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency on guitar orkeyboard
    • Passionate about the worship of the local church;be creative and always looking for fresh ways to engage
    • Willing and open to change, be flexible in avariety of situations
    • A Cross Timbers Church pastor exhibits the heart topray for, provide spiritual guidance, encourage, and lead people to Christ. kids;Leador have oversight of a church ministry, program, or department
    • Performreligious/spiritual functions of the church
    • Full-time Cross Timbers Church pastors will become apart of the Pastor On-Call (POC) rotation cycle which helps the organizationaccomplish and meet the needs of various pastoral aspects in the life andministry of the church. Part-time CrossTimbers Church pastors will support as time allows but not be included in thePOC rotation due to hour restrictions.
    Supervise and manage the Worship team including butnot limited to regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports, providingopportunities for growth and development through clear and simple goals,responsibilities and expectations

    • Planand lead worship-related training for regularly scheduled Team Nights
    • Preparefor and participate in weekly service production planning meetings and servicewalk-throughs, including coordination with production staff to ensure lighting,audio, and lyrical content is consistent with planned set list and othercreative elements within services.
    • Plan worship sets with direction provided by theLead Pastor & Executive Pastor with input from other ministry leaders asindicated.
    • Oversight & management of the worship budget includingtracking expenditures and potential recommendations of needed equipment orneeded repairs. Oversight for all scheduling and verification of worshipstaff and Serve Team at all in-person services, events and/or gatherings asassigned including providing a worship team for other ministries such as CTStudents or Kids as needed.
    • Oversee management of worship on Planning Center toprovide materials appropriate by established deadlines, or band/vocal teams,music management (charts, mp3's, etc.)
    ~ Full-Time Positions - There is a 40-hourweekly work expectation for all full-time employees.
    o Full-time staff work weeks are categorized by position as Monday –Friday or Sunday–Thursday.

    • The established work week is Sunday throughSaturday for all payroll purposes including tracking part-time hours.
    • Full-time and Regular part-time positions may beapproved for a flex schedule which includes the potential of 1-day remoteworking. o Monday-Friday role 8:30-5:00Monday-Thursday 8:30-2:00Friday
    o Sunday-Thursday role 9:00-5:00 Monday-Thursday 7:00-1:00Sundays (varies by role)

    • Employees must understand that ministry does notalways fall within a normal schedule and working outside of that schedule canperiodically include weekends, evenings and holidays for CT sponsored events thatare essential (required). For full-timeroles, additional hours outside the normal scope may be accommodated with comptime and/or a temporary adjustment to the normal schedule where indicated. Work is generallyperformed indoors but may involve limited exposure to outdoor weatherconditions.
