    Responsibilities:

    As an Investment Consulting Analyst, your role involves offering technical support to Investment and Retirement clients all over Canada. You will play a key part in delivering top-tier Investment and Retirement guidance to Plan sponsors and members, aligning with the organization's objectives.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Investment and Retirement team, record keepers, and investment managers.
    • Assist Consultants in preparing client presentations and reports, such as investment reviews, governance reviews, and more.
    • Validate data and enhance a proprietary investment performance monitoring system.
    • Analyze investment manager performance and evaluate their capabilities.
    • Attend due diligence meetings with investment managers and record keepers.
    • Research industry trends and propose innovative ideas for enhanced efficiencies.

    Qualifications:

    • Hold an Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business, or related fields.
    • Two to three years of relevant work experience is advantageous.
    • Passion for capital markets and strong analytical skills.
    • Effective planning and time management abilities.
    • Demonstrated work ethics and readiness for a full-time office-based role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of VBA macros creation/editing is a plus.
    • Strategic thinking capabilities and problem-solving mindset.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
    • Collaborate well with internal teams and external service providers.
    • Pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is required for this position.
