- Lead (i) the due diligence, feasibility analysis and determination of development potential and (ii) investigation of existing permissions on subject sites by collecting pertinent policy (OCP, Zoning By-law, Provincial Policy docs, Fee schedules, municipal by-laws, etc.), surrounding applications and locational information;

- Lead the creation, coordination and implementation of entitlement strategies which may include municipal and agency approvals, official community plan amendments, zoning by-law amendments, variances to bylaws and consents
- In conjunction with junior team members, provide leadership in the preparation and tracking of Request for Proposals and provide comparative analysis on submitted proposals as needed
- Lead the organization and coordination of external community and tenant meetings
- Coordinate and track various development agreements with municipalities and external agencies
- Review technical drawings and reports, along with the Construction team, prior to submission to the municipality and agency for completeness and to ensure specified criteria are being addressed
- Summarize reports and policies at the request of the Development team
- Regular preparation and occasional presentation of monthly, quarterly partner reports and cash flow reports
- Assist with project related presentations, printing, file management and file sharing including SharePoint
- Attend meetings and produce agenda and minutes including action items for timely circulation to the project team
- Lead the preparation, and maintenance of project schedules and provide regular updates to projected timelines and associated internal tracking reports
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple development projects and a diversified workload under prescribed timeframes
- Review and manage the release of Letters of Credit and other development related securities
- 5 – 7 years related experience working for a development company
- Degree in Engineering, Planning or Related Field
- Organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Powerpoint
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and team based approach to their work
- Well organized, ability to effectively multi-task and have good attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle is preferable
