    It is an italian family-owned, charming coffee shop located in the busy intersection of Jane and Annette in Toronto's Baby Point neighborhood.

    We complete our customers' experience with a big SMILE We are looking for experienced FULL-time Cafe Manager.
    A cafe Manager at Gigli Caffe is a STAR creating a welcome and fun vibe and impeccable service. A Barista will serve specialty hot and cold beverages and food like sandwich, pastries, salad or gelato.

    A Barista is knowledgeable about all the menu items, provides high-quality, fast-paced service and is able to work at multiple QSR counters performing various functions.

    Our Coffee Shop is located at 399 Jane Street and are looking for co-operative team players, who are dynamic and can adjust to workflow as it happens.

    Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe
    Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
    Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy
    be able to serve Coffee, Pastries, Sandwiches, Salad, Gelatin etc. Be able to multitask, take orders/deliver food to tables (if needed) and able to prioritize.
    Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards

    Cleans and sanitizes work areas in accordance with supervising health agency of the area and maintain store stock, including retail items, cups, pastry and coffee ingredients, etc.

    Care for facility and company assets and machines maintenance
    Having a Food Handlers Certificate
    Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea, drink preparation and food products
    ~ Outstanding communication and guest service skills
    ~ Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including early mornings, afternoon and weekends
    Fluent in English and Italian (preferred)
