- Collaborate with lawyers to manage personal injury and ICBC claims, providing comprehensive support throughout the litigation process.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to assist in case preparation and strategy development.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings related to personal injury and ICBC claims.
- Liaise with clients, medical professionals, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and evidence.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist with trial preparation and provide support during court proceedings as required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on personal injury and/or ICBC claims.
- Diploma or certificate in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred.
- Sound knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures pertaining to personal injury and ICBC claims.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and legal research databases.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Legal working status in Canada required; as is willingness to work on-site in Victoria BC.
