    Description
    Our client is a leading architecture and design firm based in Toronto, known for their innovative approach to architectural design and commitment to excellence. With a diverse portfolio of projects spanning commercial, residential, institutional, and healthcare sectors, they are dedicated to creating spaces that inspire and endure. We are seeking a skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team in downtown Toronto.

    Position Overview: As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for leveraging your technical expertise to support the design and delivery of architectural projects. Working closely with project teams, you will play a key role in producing detailed construction drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring that projects are executed following industry standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Revit software and a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical documentation.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with project architects and designers to develop and refine design concepts, ensuring they are technically feasible and compliant with building codes and regulations.
    • Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and schedules using Revit software, adhering to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
    • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the architectural design.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design intent.
    • Mentor junior staff members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance technical proficiency and workflow efficiency.
    • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and project documentation as required.
    Qualifications:
    • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as an architectural technologist, with a focus on producing construction documentation for architectural projects.
    • Proficiency in Revit software is essential, with demonstrated experience in producing detailed drawings and 3D models.
    • Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
