    Description
    The Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre is an ethno specific long-term care facility located in Etobicoke.

    We are committed to providing excellence in service delivery in a setting that is sensitive and respectful to the cultural and spiritual needs of the residents:
    Ukrainian – Canadian seniors.

    The Administrative Assistant Nursing will work closely with the Nursing Administration staff and other departments at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre within the COVID-19 Pandemic directives, rules and regulations for the Long Term Care Homes as directed by the Ministry of Health, Health Ontario, Toronto Public Health and others.

    You will report to the Director of Care and or her substitute and be responsible for a range of activities including:
    Assist the nursing support staff in the completion of schedules, placements and daily assignments
    Assist in managing inventory of equipment and supplies.

    Assist and support the Nursing department with the following programs and activities:

    assisting with telephone calls/virtual communication with families,
    Follow the PPE procedures in place and the Occupational Health and Safety Act in all job duties

    Knowledge of Community/Medical Support Services, Health Sciences or Gerontology
    Good Communication skills and Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Applications)
    Organizational and time management skills
    General knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Issues
    per week placement for a period of 8 weeks and applicants must be able to work flexible hours and days


    Hourly rate:
    $ 17.a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and; -Demetrius (Ukrainian Catholic) Development Corporation
