    Your duties :


    We are looking for an Automation Specialist for a manufacturing plant specialized in the design of special machines located in Laval, to be hired immediately.

    Position 40 hours/week - Hybrid, travel 90% of the time required.

    Reporting to the Automation Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

    • Participate in installation, commissioning and customer training
    • Prepare the automation and programming of PLCs installed on customer sites
    • Create procedures and documentation for the proper execution of PLCs
    • Help improve the performance of your department
    • Support and train your customer's maintenance department.
    • Other related tasks

    • Thoroughness, application

    • Pedagogy and communication skills
    Our ideal candidate enjoys explaining, popularizing and working on specific automation programming processes. In addition, the candidate must be able to travel 90% of the annual working time (start-ups) and work abroad.

    Your profile:

    • 3 to 5 years' experience on automation projects
    • Experience in programming on Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, etc.
    • Good oral and written English, bilingual French
    • Related degree in industrial equipment automation
    • Salary: $70k $95k depending on experience + bonus
    • Hybrid position, full insurance, travel bonus, RRSP, paid vacations negotiable depending on experience.
