We are searching for a General Manager passionate about creating meaningful customer, employee, and dining experiences in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


ROLE SUMMARY:

A General Manager is responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the Company's overall operations.

At
SmoQue N' Bones, the General Manager oversees and directs all aspects of restaurant employees and customer services, aligning the vision and direction of the Company brand requirements.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintain the integrity of the
    SmoQue N' Bones Brand by monitoring and directing the daytoday operations of your restaurant and employees
  • Model a professional and positive attitude when communicating with customers, employees, and shareholders
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage
  • Create and monitor customer experiences and address any customer concerns
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, development, and retention of staff
  • Conduct employee performance and salary reviews
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Work with management to develop action steps to improve customer experience, staff performance, and restaurant development
  • Participate in community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote a good image, thus fostering future growth
  • Regularly oversee the restaurant and staff's proficiency in sanitary, food safety, security, and emergency procedures
  • Walk the restaurant daily to evaluate the restaurant's physical condition and inventories, identify gaps
  • Set policies and processes
  • Prepare regular reports for management

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 3 to 5 years minimum experience working in a fastpaced restaurant environment
  • Postsecondary education, preferably in hospitality and businessrelated field
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
  • Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Familiarities with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and Silverware
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge,
  • Excellent customer service skills.
