- Dealer for Sany and Rokbak Equipment
- Cummins, Scania, Isuzu and Deutz authorized Repair Dealer. OEM certification and training available for employees showing interest
- Experience with Construction and Mining Equipment
- Sany, Rokbak, Catepillar, Komatsu and John Deere equipment would be an asset
- Ability to work independently
- Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician - Off Road and/or On Road
- Good Problem Solving Skills
- Valid drivers license – abstract required
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- 2 to 3 years experience work on Heavy Duty Off Road Equipment
- Potential candidates to need valid Off road equipment ticket from their province, if not in possession of Red seal, or AB Off Road ticket; be willing to challenge AB exam and/or Red seal within 6 months
- Running repair on off road heavy trucks, heavy construction equipment, diesel and diesel electric mining machinery
- Repairs on bulldozers, graders, dump truck and excavators
- Will require ability to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, determine extent of repair required, adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Instruct apprentices, keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Interact with customers and operators with a positive attitude
- Industry competitive wages, and above
- $47/hr to $53/hr – Depending on Experience and if in the Field or Shop
- Overtime at time and half after 8 hours/day
- Nightshift premium
- When in the field, Hotels/Condo are paid, travel time paid, as well living out allowance
- Headwater will assist with moving expenses
- This is a permanent full time position
- Pre employment Medical exam
- Some sites we travel to require you pass a drug screen
- Guaranteed minimum of 44 Hrs/week – Overtime available and paid at time and a half
- Sparwood Location - 5x5 shift rotation with a typical day being 12 hours
- We are looking for mechanics to ideally be based out of the Sparwood BC area - if field work is slow we have our field technicians work out of other locations.
Our other locations include Coalhurst, Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon. - We have expanded our service field of scope - we are also hiring for the Edmonton area
- Our mechanics must be willing to travel to remote job sites, travel time, accommodations, and living out allowance paid for trave
- Locations include Edmonton AB, Calgary AB, Saskatoon SK as well as remote work locations include Northern AB, Southern SK and Manitoba
- Our main shop is at River Ridge Road, Coalhurst AB (5 KM West of Lethbridge)

We are a Heavy Equipment Sales and Service company, we refurbish and repair late model Cat/Deere/Hitachi heavy construction equipment.
We are a Sany Equipment and Rokbak Articulated Truck dealer, as well as a Cummins and, Scania, Deutz and Isuzu Certified repair center.
(Dealer training is available for technicians interested).
