    Description

    Senior ASIC Design Engineer

    • Are you a seasoned ASIC Design Engineer with over a decade of industry expertise?
    • Do you aspire to be part of a leading semiconductor company that specializes in ASIC and FPGA design, verification, and embedded software in Canada?
    • We have teamed up with an Ottawa-based ASIC design firm that provides enhanced design services and comprehensive design teams in the semiconductor field.

    They are in search of experienced Senior ASIC Design Engineers to enhance their team in Canada on a full-time basis.

    They offer the flexibility of fully remote work within Canada and are open to facilitating relocation to Canada, making it welcoming for international candidates.

    Keep in mind that remote work from outside Canada is unavailable.

    Interested? Responsibilities include designing and implementing RTL logic (mainly Verilog or System Verilog), conducting block-level simulations, ASIC synthesis, DFT insertion, and ensuring timing closure.

    You will collaborate closely with the verification, design, hardware, and support teams. Moreover, you will provide technical support to clients, assisting them in overcoming complex technical hurdles.

    Our Expectations:

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications. 10+ years of pertinent experience. Proficiency in contemporary ASIC development, covering RTL logic design, synthesis, STA, lint, LEC, and expertise in PnR.
    • Additional background in test verification and scripting would be beneficial.
