    AECOM Buildings + Places (B+P) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

    AECOM B+P Canada is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects.


    Project assignments may include, although not limited to:
    Transit and Municipal, Commercial, and Institutional projects, Justice, Education and Government.
    A key member of the mechanical design team responsible for design and construction of various facilities, including occasional out-of-town travel;
    Provide conceptual design at the early stages of the project and develop the concept to high quality detailed design, co-ordinate with all disciplines;
    Design HVAC, Controls, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems;
    Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using standard industry programs (i.e. Perform calculations, conduct design drawing reviews, and field investigations;
    Write/ edit mechanical specifications;
    Travel to construction sites to conduct mechanical inspections and prepare reports;
    Participate in business development and writing proposals.

    Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at a very minimum, six (6) + years of experience in the Buildings Engineering Industry.

    6-10 years of experience in the Buildings Engineering industry
    In-depth design knowledge in Plumbing and Fire Protection systems, HVAC, hydronic systems, controls
    Proficient in Revit
    Must be able to prepare written reports and deliver results in a clear manner to technical or non-technical audience
    Relocation is not available for this position.
