Sterling Crane is looking for a Journeyman or 3rd year apprentice Crane Operator reporting to our Winnipeg, MB Branch. This is a full-time temporary position, with opportunities for extension, reporting to the Crane & Rigging Supervisor.


Responsibilities (_Including but not limited to)_

  • Assisting crane operators in assembly, disassembly and transport of cranes.
  • Must have proven competency to operate the following cranes and equipment in all configurations: Liebherr
  • LTM , Tadano ATF 110G, Link-Belt HTC8660II, Grove GMK 6300L, TMS9000E, 28T National boom truck, 18T boom truck.
  • Rigging of equipment.
  • Assist mechanic with the maintenance of cranes and general duties in the shop and yard.
  • Delivery of equipment and rigging as needed.
  • Travel within the province as required and requested.

Qualifications:


  • 3rd year apprentice or Journeyman certificate.
  • Class 1A driver's license with air brakes is required.
  • Clean driver's abstract is required.
  • Safety courses such as rigging, CSTS considered an asset.
