    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with internal business units to understand business goals & objectives
    • Facilitate various meetings with business units and internal teams to prioritize and solution requirements
    • Generate product delivery plans in concert with project managers and internal stakeholders that consider relevant customer requirements and future initiatives
    • Define and document technical product requirements for platform features
    • Focus on technical product excellence almost as much as process excellence and can play a major role in design brainstorming and data driven product decisions, hands on
    • Proactively identify and resolve both strategic and tactical issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals
    • Serve as the Technical Product owner on Agile/SCRUM development teams, managing the product backlog, including prioritization and management of solutions
    • Compile and analyze data to evaluate success, challenges and opportunities at many different levels, as well as ensuring the enablement of success metrics for the future
    • Provide input to functional teams on resource negotiation, managing workload, and setting schedule
    • Understand and explain from a technical perspective existing functionality, as well as future requirements, related to the product(s)/features
    • Conduct competitive analysis relative to feature sets, underlying technology, product workflow, usability, etc. to establish differentiation and feature/benefit statements
    • Provide written status reports to senior management regarding project status, task, and issues/risks
    • Communicate with clients and provide them with status updates on current projects and related aspects
    • Support the Technical Operations team to triage & troubleshoot production concerns
    • Participate in the deployment process of new software releases
    • Contribute to a team culture of ownership, accountability, respect, and partnership
    • Have the technical chops to keep up with a fast-paced discussion about system architecture

    Skills and Expertise

    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent, Computer Science degree preferred
    • 4+ years managing, defining and building SaaS based products
    • 4+ years of technical experience, ideally as a Technical / System Business Analyst
    • Product management or equivalent experience, with a track record of delivering web-based products & services
    • Technical knowledge in the areas of SaaS based systems, preferably transaction platforms, web service protocols (REST, SOAP), databases (MySQL), database UI tools, and various communication protocols
    • Fluent in Agile development practices
    • Ability to understand technical architecture of complex and scalable web applications
    • Passion for designing simple, intuitive user experiences
    • Must be comfortable and experienced with influencing and negotiating for priorities with senior leadership as well as technical teams
    • Strong communication, client facing and presentation skills using PowerPoint & BI tools (e.g. Looker)
    • Able to effectively manage clients and their expectations, including working under pressure to meet deadlines
    • Proficient in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
    • Mortgage appraisal background an asset
    • Certified Scrum Product Owner an asset
    • Knowledge of: XML formats, MISMO an asset
    • Strong project management experience and user an asset

    Responsabilités

    Collaborer avec les unités commerciales internes pour comprendre les buts et objectifs commerciaux

    Faciliter diverses réunions avec les unités commerciales et les équipes internes pour prioriser et répondre aux exigences

    Générer des plans de livraison de produits de concert avec les chefs de projet et les parties prenantes internes qui tiennent compte des exigences pertinentes des clients et des initiatives futures

    Définir et documenter les exigences techniques du produit pour les fonctionnalités de la plateforme

    Se concentrer sur l'excellence technique des produits presque autant que sur l'excellence des processus et peut jouer un rôle majeur dans le brainstorming de conception et les décisions de produits basées sur les données, sur le terrain.

    Identifier et résoudre de manière proactive les problèmes stratégiques et tactiques qui peuvent nuire à la capacité de l'équipe à atteindre les objectifs.

    Servir de propriétaire de produit technique au sein des équipes de développement Agile/SCRUM, en gérant le backlog de produit, y compris la priorisation et la gestion des solutions.

    Compétences et expertise

    Diplôme de premier cycle ou équivalent, diplôme en informatique préféré

    4+ années d'expérience dans la gestion, la définition et la création de produits SaaS

    4+ années d'expérience technique, idéalement en tant qu'analyste commercial technique/système

    Gestion de produits ou expérience équivalente, avec une expérience dans la fourniture de produits et services basés sur le Web

    Connaissances techniques dans les domaines des systèmes SaaS, de préférence des plateformes de transactions, des protocoles de services Web (REST, SOAP), des bases de données (MySQL), des outils d'interface utilisateur de bases de données et divers protocoles de communication.
