    Description

    Victoria Newitt Recruitment has been retained by Infrastructure BC in search for Senior Associate

    POSITION SUMMARY

  • Supports the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. May lead elements of large projects, or may be responsible for smaller projects under direct supervision of an Assistant Vice-President or Project Director.
  • Supports the development of concept plans and business cases for government approvals.

    STAFF SUPPORT

  • Proactively provide frequent and timely feedback to staff.
  • Support the integration and training of new staff.

    • PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Support the development of business cases: Draft business case documents.
  • Implement business case tools and methodologies.
  • Manage or support market sounding processes.
  • Conduct multi-criteria assessments for both investment and procurement options (NPV, risk and gap analysis).
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis for projects.
  • Develop financial models for business case and procurement options.
  • Support needs assessment and development of investment and procurement options.
  • Undertake risk assessment and valuations.
  • Support procurement processes:

    • Position Description: Senior Associate

  • Participate in selection of business, legal and fairness advisors. May manage advisory procurement processes.
  • Using templates, draft procurement documents (, RFQ, RFP, evaluation manuals and reports, project reports).
  • Support the development of complex contract documents.
  • Responsible to implement Records Management protocols.
  • Support the development of project evaluation criteria and considerations.
  • Participate in the evaluation of RFQ responses and RFP (, evaluation team secretary. o Evaluation management of RFQ and RFP procurement processes.
  • Prepare presentations, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation to secure approvals.

    • CLIENT AND STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS

  • Support client relationships through capable delivery of project work to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and respond to client needs as directed.
  • Support the development of materials for presentations to clients, stakeholders and market.

    • CORPORATE INITIATIVES

  • Participate (may lead) in guidance initiatives: Present initiatives at internal workshops.
  • May be a subject matter expert resource: Provide internal and external training and support to staff, clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a consistent physical presence in the office to support high level of staff engagement.
  • Regular attendance and participation at all staff meetings, educational workshops and other corporate training programs.
