Reporting to theLeaseOperations Manager, the Financial Services Business SpecialistIntern will be primarily responsible for activities supporting various lease-end functions within the department.

You will have regular contact with BMW Financial Servicesclients, retailers and will be working closely with all members of Leasing Operations.


Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparingmaturity bills for Customer lease accounts, ensuring their completeness, accuracy, and timely distribution by referencing lease-end inspection results
  • Preparingand analyzingreports to effectively support all areas of Leasing Operations. and providing feedback on trends.
  • Collaboratingwith other business departments to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and assist in the development execution of improvement initiatives
  • Tracking and following up of overterm accounts to ensure risk exposure is mitigated
  • Performing goodwill audits and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines
  • Reviewing and submiting invoices, raising PRs, supporting with the department budget and yearend accruals
  • Titles handling and processing; sorting, filing, and mailing of original ownerships as well as engagingin process enhancement initiatives
  • Tracking address changes and followingup with customers for validation, pertaining to titleshandling/processing
  • Other ad hoc assignments as required

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree in Business or working towards completing a degree
  • Relevant Financial Services, Automotive, or Banking experience is a strong asset
  • Ability to make decisions and take ownership in resolving issues
  • Strong communication skills with ability to effectively manage external vendors
  • Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, SAP and Tableau would be an asset
  • Familiarity with automotive leasing concepts would be an asset
  • Previous experience in a callcentre type environment would be an asset
  • Bilingualism (English / French) would be an asset
