You are the product subject matter expert, passionate about helping customers solve challenges through the delivery of ongoing solutions that reduce risk and manage costs.

    This individual is responsible for creating, coordinating, and executing the Microsoft customer acquisition strategy for the Microsoft SMC (Small, Medium Commercial) Accounts. This includes growing the Microsoft Workplace platform through sales training and enablement, developing, and executing competitive sales tactics while staying current with market and product trends. Successful execution will also require strong management of the local Microsoft partnership.

    What you'll do:

  • Tailor Workplace Strategies: Partner with internal and external resources to grow Microsoft Workplace in SMC, including customers and our sales teams.
  • Drive Microsoft Workplace Revenue growth supporting new and existing customers.
  • Customer Calls: Provide pre-sales support to sales and customers on Microsoft Workplace solutions. Be the SME to address inquiries and demonstrate the value of Microsoft Workplace solutions.
  • Scale Customer Engagements: Engage with local Softchoice sales teams as their Microsoft Workplace subject matter expert to sell jointly into customer accounts.
  • Customer Immersion Experiences (CIEs): Deliver CIEs to showcase the practical applications and benefits of Microsoft solutions.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Identify new market opportunities. Support the demand generation strategy and Workplace sales activations campaigns.
  • Facilitate customer events to deliver Softchoice content, including webinars.
  • Internal Training: Develop and deliver training for Softchoice sales teams on Microsoft Workplace solutions.
  • Promote Professional Services and Managed Services to drive Workplace growth.
  • Stay Informed: Ongoing personal development through certificates, training, and general curiosity to stay ahead of the curve. Active contribution to Workplace insights, best practices, and success stories.
  • What you'll bring to the table:

  • A deep understanding of Microsoft 365 with strong technical proficiency.
  • 5-7+ years of technology-related sales or product consulting role (Microsoft products preferred).
  • Microsoft Certifications in the following (Minimum of 2): MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams, SC-900: Security, Compliance & Identity Fundaments, SC-400: Administering Information Protection and Compliance in Microsoft 365, AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals.
  • Consultative Selling Skills: Proven ability to engage in consultative selling, understanding customer pain points, and positioning Microsoft Workplace products as solutions to those challenges.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology, industry trends, and product updates, ensuring continued relevance and expertise in Microsoft Workplace solutions.
  • Presentation and communication skills: Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinking & execution: Ability to develop sales and business strategy options, while also being able to successfully execute plans and build strong relationships.
  • Bilingual English/French preferred.
