    We are seeking Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses Child and Family Program Full Time and Part-Time role

    About the Program: The Child and Family program services families who are caring for children with medically complex needs (CCMN). The clients are from 1 to 25 years old and require specialized care and nursing skills at home or in a school setting (bus escorts for school and attending medical appointments with clients (with LHIN approval). This program has both shift and visiting nurse opportunities. There is a $2000 Sign-On Bonus for full-time nurses

    About the role:

    As a Child and Family shift nurse, you will provide personal care and all medical interventions such as tube feed, preparation, and medication administration. Care and clean medical equipment and supplies (syringes, feeding tubes, and suction canisters). You will get training in paediatric care and various nursing skills in tracheostomy tubes, mechanical ventilators, and g-tubes feed (among others).

    Required Qualifications:

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Membership of your Professional Association preferred (RNAO/WeRPN).
  • RN diploma/degree or RPN diploma from a recognized university or college.
  • Hold a valid First Aid or CPR Certification.
