    Description

    About the Role:

    CrowdStrike is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Content Research and Integration team in the Endpoint Protection Content group. This team focuses on security development for Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.

    Within the Content Research and Integration team (CRI), innovative capabilities are developed to detect suspicious behavior on endpoint devices autonomously. The team's goal is to identify and prevent malicious activities and provide guidance to security analysts during new adversary activity. Detection strategies are implemented on the endpoint and in the cloud, using a hybrid approach.

    As a sensor engineer in the CRI Windows team, you will research and develop sensor capabilities to detect attack techniques on Windows OS versions. Your role involves implementing detection logic and collaborating on cross-platform features.

    As a Senior Engineer, you will serve as a key resource, collaborating with other teams, driving initiatives, and making significant contributions to projects.

    What You'll Do:

    • Design and build detection systems to identify cyber attackers.
    • Extend codebase and test suites using C++, Python, and other tools.
    • Brainstorm and build collaboratively across teams.
    • Create solutions for technical problems.
    • Learn and share the latest technologies with the team.
    • Accept feedback graciously and troubleshoot product issues.
    • Apply engineering best practices for clean code.
    • Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables.

    What You'll Need:

    • 5+ years of software development experience in C/C++, with 2+ years in security or kernel-mode programming.
    • Deep knowledge of Windows OS internals.
    • Effective team player with strong communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in security, exploit, and vulnerability analysis.
    • Experience with low-level code and multi-threaded systems development.
    • Knowledge of python and agile development processes.
