    Consulting Engineering / Engineering
    Permanent - Full time , Occasional remote work

    Our client is a leading manufacturing company in HVAC system services, which has operated throughout Canada and the United States for over 50 years.

    They offer quality products and services for the commercial sector. Our client emphasizes innovation through its highly qualified staff.

    Reporting to the General Director, the Engineering Director will have full responsibility for planning and controlling the activities of the engineering department.

    To carry out his mandate, he relies on a team of engineering professionals to carry out the design.

    Ensuring rigorous budgetary management, improving performance, efficiency and quality of services, you represent your management and participate in various committees, in order to ensure continuous management of the company's activities and development.

    Provide strategic and technical leadership for successful sales and project implementation.


    • Supervise the execution of projects upstream and downstream.
    • Maintain all drawings and documentation related to sales and project execution.
    • Prepare bills of material efficiently and in a timely manner after the sale of a project.
    • Monitor the reliability and performance of all internal systems in order to suggest improvements.
    • Ensure our products meet quality expectations.
    • Manage sales software developments by defining requirements, objectives and deadlines.
    • Prepare and manage the engineering department budget.
    • Design strategies for future development projects based on overall company objectives and resources
    • Assign clear roles and responsibilities to team members and ensure effective supervision and performance management.
    • 5-10 years of professional experience as an Engineering Manager or similar senior level position
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university
    • Experience managing, designing, implementing and evaluating multiple projects
    • Extensive experience in the design and logic controls of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and/or dehumidifiers.
    • Strong oral and written skills in French and English
    • Excellent interpersonal, management and communication skills
    • Salary between $140,000 to $180,000 depending on experience
