Headquartered in Montreal, Behaviour has more than 1, employees worldwide with studios in Toronto (Behaviour Toronto), Seattle (Midwinter Entertainment), Rotterdam (Behaviour Rotterdam) and in the UK (Behaviour UK–North & South). This role will be part of our team working on co- and full-development projects across all platforms for Behaviour's roster of blue-chip clients, which includes Microsoft, Sony, EA, Warner, 2K, and many others. As a Senior 3D Animator, you'll work closely with the Animation Director and designer team to set the benchmark quality animation to guide and inspire the rest of team. Your work will cover a wide variety of character types within the gameplay space: humanoid characters, quadruped enemies, mechanized suits just to name a few.In this role you will :
  • Effectively applies animation principles to create high-quality animations;
  • Understands game design intention and can list required animations for simple behaviour;
  • Adapt your work to create new animations based on existing brands;
  • Edit your animations within a game engine.
    • What we're looking for :
  • Diploma in a 2D/3D animation program;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the video game industry;
  • Experience in making animations for a video game;
  • Portfolio and resume demonstrate a good understanding of the principles of animation;
  • Good knowledge of human anatomy;
  • Expertise in Maya or other equivalent 3D software;
  • Must have a great sense of observation and a good knowledge of a video game production;
  • Passion for animation and video games;
  • Capacity to work in a team;
  • A portfolio is mandatory with your application;
  • Being bi-lingual in French and English is mandatory for this role as you might need to interact with english speaking partners externally, but also be able to access, read and produce documentation in English as well;
