    THE OPPORTUNITY – Customer Service Supervisor (Canada Summer Job)

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Conduct face-to-face marketing for Bottle Pick-Up Service in specific residential areas.
    • Deliver precise information about Bottle Pick-Up Service and other related services.
    • Lead and foster a cooperative team environment by supervising customer service agents. Coordinate team meetings alongside the Social Enterprise Manager.
    • Manage logistical aspects such as daily neighborhood assignments and supplies, while prioritizing safety protocols for team members. Meet assigned performance targets and perform other administrative duties as required.

    WHAT YOU BRING

    We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences, and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:

    • Holds a minimum of a high school diploma or GED in a related field and possesses work experience in a similar role.
    • Demonstrates customer service experience in a supervisory capacity
    • Capable of walking and climbing stairs during shifts.
    • Exhibits outstanding organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities
    • Upholds a high standard of professionalism aligned with Vecova's values.
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with all Vecova team members
    • Represent Vecova in a professional manner
    • Demonstrate a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
    • Maintain confidentiality at all times
    • Demonstrate a high level of administrative and IT capacity.
    • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
    • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
    • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation.
