    We're currently seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager of Finance to join our client's dynamic Finance team.

    This is a newly created role reporting to the Manager of Finance, overseeing various initiatives such as month-end close and day-to-day accounting.

    As a key member of the team, you'll play a vital role in scaling the Finance function and supporting M+A goals and integrations.

    You're a master with spreadsheets, like building models, and enjoy analyzing financials/KPIs to identify trends and value creation opportunities.

    No task is too small, and as a member of a small finance department, within a growing company, you will do what it takes to hit deadlines and deliverables.

    You'll put out fires when they (inevitably) pop up.

    You can get to the point without all the fluff, but also describe complex accounting and finance concepts in a simple manner when interacting with junior members of the finance team, or other departments.

    Bachelor's Degree, Professional designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or enrolment in such a program
    Past experience managing at least 3 direct reports- an asset but not required
    Audit, Tax and/or Transaction Services experience is an asset
    Power BI experience an asset, but not required
    Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce and other enterprise software is an asset, but not required
    Familiarity with financial tools like Sage Intacct, Microsoft PowerBI, and Salesforce (CRM).
    Knowledge of integrations and system change management.
    Full-time permanent position at our client's vibrant Oakville office.
