    Report to the Managing Lawyer for Labour Relations, providing legal support to NSHA and IWK as part of the Labour Relations team.

    Work closely with senior leaders to understand and address the strategic and operational needs of the organizations.

    Provide legal advice, advocacy, and capacity development in labor law within the healthcare sector.

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in labor law, with preference for candidates with litigation and commercial arbitration experience.
    • Healthcare sector and risk management experience is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of current labor laws, including legislation, regulations, and trends.
    • Ability to conduct in-depth research on legal matters affecting employees.
    • Strong problem-solving and advocacy skills.

    Experience in health advisory or government sectors is advantageous, as well as practice in administrative, contracts, employment, corporate governance, and privacy laws.
