- Assist with a variety of electrical engineering tasks
- Support ongoing and new engineering studies, existing asset inspection and condition reporting, drawing updates, and document control
- Design work and project management are potential opportunities depending on the aptitude of the candidate
- Contribute to the safety culture at Vanscoy Potash by demonstrating strict adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Completed a minimum of two years in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program or equivalent
- Experience working in a mining or industrial environment is preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are essential
- Positive safety behavior and safety guidance
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training

Discover more about potash at Nutrien An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Vanscory Potash Mine beginning May 2024 for a 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Mine Maintenance Engineering, and is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.
