Job Summary:
We're seeking a uniquely talented Strategy Associate to join our strategy team at Volaris Group. We are a key operating group under Constellation Software Inc.

CSU), one of the world's largest conglomerate that acquires, strengthens and grows vertical market software companies globally. Unlike PE or strategic acquirers, we buy and hold forever.

Since 1996, Volaris Group has acquired and now owns 150+ software businesses in 35+ countries across 30+ verticals and continues to grow rapidly.


Job Description:


  • What you'll do_

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing industry and trend research, market analysis and market sizing to tackle a business problem or to evaluate a potential M&A target
  • Conducting research and analysis for strategy recommendations
  • Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing key insights from various data sources to inform strategy development and next steps
  • Publishing insight articles & infographics to build thought leadership across Volaris
  • Assisting leaders of our businesses in strategic planning and longterm business strategy building
  • Collaborating with multiple departments such as Finance, M&A and portfolio teams for research and analysis
  • Evaluating the potential of organic growth opportunities across our businesses
  • Generating ideas and formulating processes to help promote a culture of innovation
  • Other special projects as required
  • Qualifications:_
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, economics, engineering, mathematics, philosophy or related fields is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or similar analytical role. Experience in the software industry is an asset
  • Strong understanding of business financials and business operations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • A selfstarter able to take on ownership and get work done effectively
  • High curiosity with strong passion for learning and creative problemsolving
  • Must be selfmotivated, able to work autonomously and think independently, and open to learning and sharing new ideas
  • Adaptable and flexible, with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressure and demands
  • Can speak multiple languages (is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel (<10% of time)
