    • Coordinate and manage project schedules as they relate to delivering the technical project documents for all project sizes and typologies
    • Resolve complex design and technical issues; provide technical expertise in the detailed design of buildings for all project sizes and typologies, including large or complex projects
    • Prepare contract drawings, coordinate specifications, schedules, details and sketches from conceptual design through to construction
    • Provide leadership and direction to team members to develop in-house expertise and methodologies (technical and quality standards, etc.) to advance the group and the efficiency and effectiveness of our architectural work
    • Lead the building of architectural BIM models, starting in Concept/Schematic Design and through all design and construction phases
    • Lead model and drawing coordination with the project consultant team using cloud-based software
    • Opportunity to engage in contract administration of medium-large projects (>$100 million construction value) with minimal supervision, including discipline coordination and working with Clients, Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and Contractors directly where required

    Who you are:

    • Minimum of 12 years' experienceasan architectural technologist, including a minimum of five years as a Job Captain overseeing technical production on large complex projects
    • Strong Revit skills and working knowledge of AutoCAD is required
    • Architectural technology diploma is required, Licensed Technologist AAA is an asset
    • LEED AP is an asset
    • Strong knowledge of building codes, building construction systems, building materials and specifications
    • Visual/graphic, written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
